Science report: Hot Wheels Long Jump, by Axonn and Jaller

We wanted to find out which car would jump farther, the heavy car or the light car. There were no medium cars. Only heavy and light.

Our variables were the height of the track and the weight of the car.

Here's how we did it.

We set up the track.
We positioned some playdough so that the car would land on it and make a mark.
We picked two cars of different weights (30 gm - 40 gm)
We released them and the 30 gm car went farther.

We found out that the lighter cars went farther than the heavier cars because the effects of gravity on the heavy car resulted in a shorter jump.

Gravity and its effect on the mass creates weight so since the heavy car was heavier, it got pulled down from the air with its own weight.

We found that the higher the point of release, the farther a car can jump.

Migi made up a new game called Melee, here's how to play it:

materials -
wooden blocks (squares)
action figures, Lego minifigures, or Playmobil figures (as many as you like with an assortment of weapons)

rules:
no hitting over people.
no moving and then hitting, one or the other.
you may either move or hit once a turn.
a turn is over once you have either moved or hit using all the men.
the hit power is as following - bomb, rifle, scythe, wand 5 HP. Swords 4 HP. Axes, picks 3 HP. Daggers, wood 1 HP.
all men start with 10 life.

how to play:
divide up the wooden blocks evenly
get as many men as there are blocks
give your men their weapons
line your men up
flip a coin to see who will go first
FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Preparation For The Battle, Part One
The Narnian army:
"I wonder how we are going to beat the White Witch," thinks Peter. "Our army is too small; we need reinforcements." Suddenly a knight in blue and gold armor with a crown came charging up, flanked by two knights: one in green armor, the other in red. The one with the crown said "Hello, I am King Jayko, I hear you need reinforcements. These two are Kentis and Adric. The rest of my knights are over there, also some Redwallers." "Thank you very much," said Peter.

The Witch's army:
"Otmin, go and bring these Vladek and Gulo here," said the White Witch "I want to talk to them." After Otmin left, the Witch was left to think about her plan. "Aslan's army is small; a headlong charge should break them!" When Vladek and Gulo entered the tent, the Witch had her plan ready. Vladek spoke first, "I will fight for you if you help me pay my rogue knights their gold, but Jayko is mine!" "And i must eat the dead ones' hearts, they will give me strength," said Gulo. "Very well," said the White Witch, "but first show me your armies."

The Narnian army:
As Peter, Jayko, Rakkety Tam, and Brig Crumshaw were making their plans, two figures -- one black and one white -- suddenly came down for a landing. The white one towered over them. The black one was about as tall as every one else and carried a drill and some kind of launcher which was loaded with glowing red balls. Then, a teenaged boy hopped out of the white one and said "Hi, I'm Hikaru, this is my Stealth Hunter, and that's Nuparu. Our friends are over there." As Peter, Jayko, Rakkety Tam, and Brig Crumshaw looked up to where he was pointing, they saw three laser blasts and ice, water, fire, and stone collide then were surrounded immediately by a mini cyclone. Then eight more figures (one the size of Stealth Hunter) jumped down to join them: five of them looked somewhat like Nuparu except they were differently colored. The red one that looked like Nuparu introduced himself, "Hi I'm Jaller, these are, Matoro, Hahli, Kongu and Hewkii." Then a teenaged boy leaped out of the one that was as big as Stealth Hunter and said, "Hikaru have you spotted the robots yet?" as Hikaru was about to answer Adric butted in "I spotted some robots, they were behind us, I saw a lot of them. They were headed toward the other camp, but what's your name?" "My name is Takeshi, and these are Ha-ya-to and Ryo, and those are Supernova, The Gate Defender and Uplink."

woohoo! Today I became a 2nd degree Black Belt we came early and started practicing everything and then we started testing and we did 100 jumping jacks 100 crunches and 50 v-ups and then Migi did his combinations and then Matthew did his combinations and then I did my combinations (phew!) and then we did our forms and then our weapons forms, then we did our sparring and then we did our breaks, I did a jump back-kick on two boards and then I broke two boards (one on each side ) with a split-kick and then we all got promoted i got promoted to 2nd degree Black Belt, migi got promoted to 1st degree Black Belt.yyeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah baaaaby!

yeaaaaah! the music is still ringing in my ears. first of all we went to the wedding. uncle topey and tita mina got married i was the coin bearer, i kept thinking that they would kiss. i thought that father lykam would say "you may now kiss the bride" but he never did. after the wedding we went to the reception i ... had sooo much fun i danced for a bit then me and migi and david and e.j. formed i.l.b.(Ice Lightning Blazers) the others made me commander the girls became the s.h.b.b.b.b we had races, had our pictures taken, played hide n' seek it was soooooooooooooooooo fuuuuuuuuun. i had 3-4 glasses of coke. holiday inn, saint louis, MO.

mariel & dandin of redwall return! in the bellmaker. ( for more information go to redwall.org)when urgan nagru, the fox wolf ( he's really just a fox but he calls himself a fox wolf because he killed a wolf, skinned it, & wears its skin & skull ) captures gael the squirrelking, his wife, queen serena, & their baby, truffen, along with muta, truffen's nurse, &, worst of all, castle floret. the otter, rab streambattle & his band of otters must try to save them, but then something goes wrong, king gael gets left behind & nagru sends out his dirgecallers to find the southswarders.....................................but even as this is happening mariel, dandin, & a hedgehog named bowly pintips are getting closer every second, when they meet up with meldrum the magnificent, & later on save queen serena & truffen, but, unfortunately get caught themselves, (oops! i forgot, bowly was with some moles while they were saving queen serena & truffen) but, with the help of glokkpod the butcherbird & king gael they get out............................meanwhile at redwall joseph the bellmaker father of mariel, dreams of martin the warrior, & all that is happening in southsward. in a short time rufe brush, joseph, foremole, durry quill & hon rosie along with log a log & his crew of shrews get them to finnbar galedeep. finnbar, with their help steals the pearl queen(owned by cap'n slipp)& tries to sink the shaloo (owned by cap'n strapp, brother of slipp) but failing, they flee in the pearl queen with the shaloo hard on their heels, but when the two ships reach the green maelstrom, it's a close one.....................but with pearl queen emerging victorious.....& the shaloo in the sea, still spinning.......................................................................................................now back to mariel, having escaped but finding the walltop swarming with vermin. mariel runs back into castle floret where she meets egburt the scholar, muta, & rab and with muta and rab's help takes control of the gatehouse and then egburt goes back to his tunnels. meanwhile, joseph and the others are recruiting an army, find castle floret and meet egburt the scholar meldrum, and iris, rab's mate. together with dandin, joseph is reunited with mariel and they put the vermin into flight right out of castle floret where the final battle of urgan nagru and finnbar galedeep would take place that day ending up with all the vermin deader than doornails. finally rufe, foremole, durry, hon rosie, mariel, & last but not least dandin return home to redwall.(joseph returns later on after he makes a bell for king gael)

marlfox was a really good book and i think that people will like it a lot, one thing i like about it is when dann goes out and tries to find the tapestry and after a long journey he gets it
and comes back to redwall and becomes the champion of redwall.
there are a lot of marlfoxes. mokkan, one of the marlfoxes, is the main bad guy that stole the tapestry. he stole it to give to his mother silth high queen of castle marl. but when mokkan comes back lantur (one of his sisters) is ruling so ( you can expect treachery from any marlfox) he pushes her into the lake just because he wanted to be high king.................eventually dann & the others get the tapestry, kill mokkan, & get back to redwall in double quick time.

Once upon a time there were two brothers & they lived in a monastery & they wanted to leave so they they asked the abbot what would happen & he prophesied that the older one would become the richest man in china & he gave advice to the younger one so they went into the world & one went & became rich while the other went & became poor & they both married so the poor brother went to the other & asked for things and the rich brother gave him pants & cloth & at night on the way back he saw a sea ogre and grabbed its beard & it gave him a pot that cooks by itself, a stick that beats by itself and a rope that ties by itself. So as soon as he got home, it was night and his wife had a boyfriend with her and he told her to open the door but she said "my husband is not home so go away". And while she said that her friend got out the back window. And also her husband buried the three magical gifts under the ladder that led to their house. And while they were in bed, her husband told her about the three magical gifts and where he had put them. Her boyfriend heard what he had said and went and dug them up. The next day, he tried to find them and found that they were gone. So he knew that somebody must have dug it up. He got his ladder and dragged it around and told the judge to hear his case. The judge told him to go somewhere else so he dragged it in front of the king. The king asked Sem to tell him what had happened. so the poor young man told the king. The king ordered a play and told Sem not to go to it. Then the king gave him 2 sarongs of gold silk & Sem gave the sarongs to his wife Bopha. They found out that the king's heralds were saying that a play was coming. Bopha said let's go to the play but Sem said that she could go and he would stay at home. She decided to let her boyfriend use the other sarong and the king had ordered his guards to arrest a couple with gold silk sarongs. Bopha and her boyfriend were arrested and they called Sem. The king asked him if his wife was there and he said yes and so the King the boyfriend if he had taken Sem's things and he said yes. The king sent him to get the things and he got them. He ordered the stick to beat the boyfriend and the rope to bind up Bopha. That happened for like a minute or so and then the queen said that they had been punished enough. She ordered the pot to make some food. And they stopped. The king ordered the rope and the stick to stop beating and binding them. Sem gave them his magical things and he married their daughter and became the king when the old king died. The End

" five children & it"..... is a fun book i like all of e.nesbits books fc&i is only one i also like "the book of dragons" also by e.nesbit. i think one of my favorite parts in fc&i is when robert accidently wishes that the others could wish without seeing the sammyadd & cyril ( peculiar name for him ) wished their house was a beiseged castle & it happening & it dissapeared at sunset.....right when they had poured a jug of water over the battlements & then, gone & the water fell on marthas head.

They're fighting the Vietnamese and the Khmer Rouge.

There's a girl who was in Cambodia. Her name was Dara. And her father was killed so they moved to Nong Chan. And then she makes friends with a girl named Jantu. Nong Chan gets bombed so they have to run and Jantu's baby brother gets hurt so they have to take him to the hospital. Jantu told Dara to tell her mother (Dara's) but Dara doesn't know where her mom might be, so Jantu told her to go look at the old campsite, but she wasn't there. A kid named Chnay told her where they might have went and he went with her. She gets to the old campsite and they find that they're there. Sarun, her brother, was recruited for the army and so they did drills. Jantu's cousin, Nea, was there and she said that they were going to get married soon. They were getting ready to leave to go back to their old home, but Sarun wanted to stay to be in the army. So Nea and Dara got ready in secret without telling Sarun. Nea's grandpa Kem and Dara's mother helped them, so they got all ready but Sarun had to do one more thing so that he could leave: a drill. They decided to go and get Jantu and her brother. They went and as they were coming back, Jantu was shot. They get her back to the camp and Sarun goes off to do the drill and while he's gone, Jantu died. When they're going to leave, Sarun wants to become a regular in the army. He wanted to stay in the army because he wanted to be doing something for his country. But they decided to go and leave anyway. They left and Sarun chooses to go with them. They go back to their home . The End.

yesterday three things happened first I had first communion, then I went to a party & when I got back my uncle was here, the theme for the party was pirates, we had a lot of fun chasing each other, we had a grand old battle.

Hello,yesterday my friends, my brother & I were playing an animal game all of us got to be judge except me I didn't mind it was awesome it was like this,

two of us face each other about ten feet apart, the judge in the middle, we announce our animal, he says go, & then pa da dam pum pum, we charge!

it was fun, I was scorpion, a tiger & a cheetah, the rest of the time I was a bald eagle.
